We go over the chapter 7 and we learn about each part of skeleton such as spinal cord. Spinal cord is long, thin, tubular structure made up of nerve tissue. Spinal cord has 33 vertebrae and connect with each other through flexible joint called facet. The first vertebrae is called atlas which is located under the occipital bone, and the second bone of vertebrae is the axis bone which is under the atlas bone. The spinal cord is divided into 5 section, such as Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar, Sacrum and Coccyx. Cervical bone are the top bones of vertebrae including Atlas and Axis.
